WILLIAM WILLIAMSON

Honda films have always been cool. And we think Will’s is the coolest. It’s about a man who built a jet pack. A real, actual jetpack. And it works! Take that SpaceX!

Working his documentarian magic into that film, Will incredibly managed to not make it just about the jetpack. It become a poignant, philosophical insight into the human condition and what it truly means to invent something. It’s pretty impressive. Almost as impressive as building your own jetpack.

We weren’t surprised though. Will has long been able to weave emotive human stories into his films, whether hanging with Loyle Carner for the Levi’s Music Project or chilling (lol) Helly Hansen in the more remote reaches of the Arctic Circle.

His frequent collaborations with charities and nonprofits, including flagship campaigns for UNICEF and Cancer Research UK, are further examples both of the gravitas of his films and his commitment to making movies that matter.
