Jean-Paul Frenay

Jean-Paul Frenay can do things most people can’t. Like speak four languages. Or artfully combine CGI, VFX and live action to make something with feeling. He’s done it for Nescafé and for Cadillac and for Nike.

He’s a rare technician with a human touch. A cinematic scientist with soul. A future-facing filmmaker who never forgets that when it comes down to it, you’ve gotta make movies that move people. 

I guess what we’re trying to say is that this guy is an artist, something that various International film festivals noticed too when they featured his animated short Artificial Paradise, Inc. And NYC musical experimentalists Son Lux noticed when they asked him to make a highly acclaimed video for “The Fool You Need”.

He’s also in a band and has a motorbike, which is cool.
